Big boy!

Nate has reached another milestone!! (No, it is not being able to walk or talk yet.) We moved his carseat to forward-facing, so he is now officially a big boy! We bit the bullet and decided to do it yesterday, though you're technically not supposed to until babies are 1 year old AND 20 lbs. We figured, hey, we're just 2 weeks short of a year, so what's the big deal?! And oh my gosh.....Nate loves it! We have had two outings so far this weekend, and I swear he smiled, laughed, and babbled the whole time! He loved being able to see both Mommy & Daddy at the same time, as well as facing forward & seeing a whole new world! He is really is 10 times happier, it is the cutest thing :)


On Thursday, we are taking him to stay with Grandma & Granddad Givens, (while we head to a wedding in VA), so hopefully this will make our 4.5 hour car ride to Johnson City a little more bearable....we'll see.....
